I've noticed an odd problem as of late with the Skype integration. It's one of those little things - but checking to see if anyone else has seen this.

The problem: Skype users won't go "offline". If a friend logs on using Skype, Trillian sees that he has become available, but when he logs off he still stays active in my contacts list showing available.

If I log out of skype and back in, then the true status is reflected again (he shows offline again).

I haven't tried it in different configurations (e.g., I'm behind a corporate firewall), so I can't confirm this always happens.

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Hi,

I am curious, Is there any logic with using Online/Away atd and Status messages, when I am connected from multiple sources (win + web for ex.)?

I test it, and seems to me it isnt synchronized (pitty), and relevant status is derived from last change (doesnt matter from which source is changed). Cant test status messages..

Anyone has some informations or experience with that?

Ok, here's the thing: I run Trillian 5 for Windows under Wine on an Ubuntu machine. Works great, except that I can't use a couple of the preferences pages, because they cause the program to crash. Unfortunately, this seems to mean that I can't turn history sync on, now that I have a pro account.

What I can do is get to the .ini files and write preferences directly. So, if someone would be so kind as to tell me which .ini file I'm looking for, and what line to change, I'd be terribly grateful.
